29: How to design a pleasurable life of ease and happiness - Interview with Raina

Do you wish your day had seven more hours to fit in all the things you have to do and still have time for what you want to do like having more sex and orgasms? This episode is for you because you probably have the time, you just haven't realized. In this conversation, Erika talks with Raina about how to create a routine that feels good, so much so that you can actually be consistent with it and BE the person who does all those wonderful, pleasurable things and is highly productive at the same time.

Raina is an Online Wellness & Life Coach with a focus on consistency & routine. Based in Denver, single mom of two teen girls, and she has two fur babies who are her everything.

The trick to being consistent with your routine.

According to Raina, there is no trick but if there was one, then it would be the intention. Think about, or better yet, journal about what it's going to feel like in a year if you do [insert here the activities you desire in your life] and you may find that you have the best reason to start aligning your life and your days with that purpose: the intention to be who you want to be, and the vision to know where you are going.

Showing up for yourself in a way that feels good and making a routine that works for you, allows you to become THAT person. After a lifetime of committing to what you think you should be doing, the best strategy to start with these changes in your routine and make it sustainable, is to ask yourself, "what is step one? And define your non-negotiables.

Know what you actually want and that you deserve it.

Approaching your new life -and your new routine- from your desires, brings in positive energy and a sense of possibility. Being clear on what you WANT allows you to take the path of creation with a growth mindset. If that feels uncomfortable, perhaps it's about how deserving you think you are.

You have to know that you are indeed worthy of living that way. If you are a mother maybe you have been taught that you need to put everybody else first but if you don't feel good. Your kids see it, they feel it. They're internalizing it, they're thinking that this is the way that life should be lived. And the cycle never ends.

When you're working towards a goal, like changing your relationship with your body, experiencing more pleasure, having your first orgasm, or more sex in your long-term relationship, oftentimes, it's not spontaneous. You're not going to always feel like it. So put your pleasure practices in your calendar, tune in to this episode, and learn how to design and commit to a life of ease and happiness.
