Are You There, Gen Z? It's God with Neale Donald Walsch

How can one heal and spiritually grow after experiencing years of sexual abuse and family trauma? Find out on today's Life Question of the Week.

Next, Michael sits down with the acclaimed bestselling author of the Conversations with God book series, Neale Donald Walsch. Neale has written 40 books on contemporary spirituality and its practical application in everyday life, including his latest, GodTalk: Experiences of Humanity's Connections with a Higher Power, a book in the Common Sentience book series. Seven of Neale's Conversations with God books made the New York Times bestseller list. Book One remained on that list for 134 weeks. His titles have been translated into 37 languages and have been read by millions of people around the world.

During their universal and poignant conversation, Michael and Neale discuss:

-How Neale's Conversations with God series came to and through him during a time of profound life changes and inner transformation

-How everyone is having a direct conversation with God or a Higher Power all the time, but just calls the experience by other names. It's not something that only happens to "special people" or just occurred during ancient times

-That certain religious leaders and organizers came to use religion as a means to control people by saying they needed intermediaries and certain sacraments and rituals to "get to God"

-Neale's latest book, GodTalk, which outlines six steps for intentionally conversing with God based on his own experiences and observations, plus inspiring stories from people around the world who've experienced divine interventions of their own

-How Gen Z and younger generations should "question the prior assumption" when it comes to existing ideas and beliefs about God, and be more curious and courageous about exploring their own spiritual identities – and much, much more!

And as always, Michael concludes with a brief meditation that encapsulates the energy of their conversation.
