Dr. LaTasha Seliby Perkins: A Maternal RSV Vaccination Discussion

Hear from family physician LaTasha Seliby Perkins, MD, FAAFP, on maternal RSV vaccination guidelines and recommendations and ways to overcome vaccine hesitancy. Vaccines newly available in the 2023-2024 respiratory season are presenting new opportunities to protect against RSV, but vaccine hesitancy continues to present challenges in increasing vaccination rates for flu, COVID-19 and RSV.

Dr. Seliby-Perkins outlines the responsibility of family doctors in educating their most vulnerable patients about these vaccines and clarifying any concerns among them and offers concrete tips for overcoming vaccine hesitancy.
