044 - The Let Down Effect

'Avoid the inevitable'

In this next official Property Entrepreneur podcast, I'm talking about something that is probably well experienced by most entrepreneurs, but academically, professionally and medically very unknown.

This condition is called the Let Down Effect. When people go all guns blazing, they have high adrenaline and high stress levels and this makes them militant and bulletproof in performance. However, once the challenge is completed, the obstacle is overcome and they've reached the other side of that journey adrenaline levels drop and leads to illness.

Over the last 15 years, this condition has continually affected me after various highly stressed milestones and there have been three significant cases that have ended up in significant illness, virus and downside, all at the end of a very aggressive, very fast-paced, and very high pressured experiences.

For those who do not know how this works, it can be very dangerous and can result in significant downside and illness. However, for those who understand it, they can not only see it coming but can also prevent this downside from happening.

The Let Down Effect is something that every high performer will experience in their lives and during this podcast, I'm going to take you through what it is, how it works, how you can prevent it, and how you can see it coming.
