"Rattlesnake Daddy" Sprout Young
Leroy Willis "Sprout" Young was a career criminal who loved hillbilly songs. His favorite was "Rattlesnake Daddy" which he often sang around bars and roadhouses in Knoxville, Tennessee-even claiming he'd written the song. Sprout was also a ladies man. When 17 year old Joanna Huffstetler met up with Sprout at a dance hall in town, she let the Rattlesnake Daddy give her a ride home. However, Joanna's body is discovered in a debris pile in an area known as Stinky Point. It doesn't take long for police to connect the dots with Sprout as their prime suspect.
