After a long journey on MVM covering Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, we finally arrive at The Defenders! We’ll take you behind the scenes on the Marvel / Netflix TV deal, the making of The Defenders show, and find out whether or not it was a hit! Then we’ll take you behind the page on the team-that’s-not-a-team, from its crazy sci-fi 70’s origins with Dr Strange, Prince Namor, and the Hulk, and how they're connected to Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Elektra! We’ll take a deep-dive into the first two episodes of The Defenders, and pull them apart scene-by-scene in the way that only MVM can! We'll explore whether Daredevil and Luke Cage count as "official" members of the original Defenders, we'll find out about the supporting cast member of this TV show that definitely IS a member of the original Defenders, we'll dig into the tragic story of Elektra's resurrection, the deadly leaders of The Hand, and what happened the first time Luke Cage met Iron Fist!
