Finally, some good news from the war. Two Americans, who were among the more than 200 hostages being held by terrorists, have been released. It's been confirmed that the freed hostages are a mother and daughter pair from outside of Chicago. They are safely at a military base in southern Israel and will soon be reunited with their family. And in his address to the nation, President Joe Biden said he wants to allocate 60 billion dollars in aid to back up Israel and Ukraine, but that can't happen until Congress gets its act together. And today, there was more chaos as a third unsuccessful vote was held to pick a new Speaker of the House. Behind the scenes, it's getting ugly, with a congressman's wife releasing a threatening voicemail about her husband's vote. Plus, kids put stuff in their mouths all the time. But when one seven-year-old boy on the school bus swallowed a quarter, it could have ended in disaster if not for his quick-thinking bus driver. As Les Trent reports, that driver is now being called an angel. And the lady giving Taylor Swift some competition when it comes to going crazy at an NFL game. It's a confession to murder, 18 years after the killing took place. Yesterday, Joran van der Sloot pled guilty to trying to extort the mother of long missing Natalee Holloway after finally confessing to her murder. Now the audio of that confession is being released by the court. And a warning from the FBI in the wake of the Hamas attack in Israel, the head of the bureau saying there is “no question” that threats to Americans here at home are on the rise. Plus, a man was freed from prison three years ago after serving 16 years for a crime he didn't commit. Now he's dead after police say he resisted arrest during a traffic stop. The lawyer representing his family says the thought of going back to jail triggered him...and the officer should have done more to de-escalate the situation. It's a historic wartime visit to Israel for President Joe Biden. As soon as he arrived in Tel Aviv he weighed in on the shocking news about the bombing of a hospital that reportedly killed hundreds...telling reporters Israel is not to blame. It's a deadly standoff for the nearly 200 hostages being held for days by Hamas. They may be the one thing preventing a full-scale assault on Gaza, and a prize bargaining chip for the terrorists who kidnapped them. Plus, Britney Spears is on the cover of People magazine – her first cover shoot in five years. It's all to promote her upcoming memoir and it includes quite a bombshell. In the book, Britney claims that Justin Timberlake got her pregnant during their three-year relationship. And it's estimated that as many as 19 million Americans may be hoarders. Most of them have jammed their homes to the brim with stuff. But in the case of this person, their car is their castle. We're learning more about the final days of Suzanne Somers. Although she played the ditzy blonde on TV, in real life she was a shrewd businesswoman whose fitness products and books made her a very wealthy woman. As Jim Moret reports, she lost her long battle with breast cancer just one day before she would have turned 77. And hundreds of Americans were among those desperately fleeing Gaza today. It's been a struggle, with Hamas reportedly blocking some exit routes and food, water, and medical supplies are running short or are gone. And the bad news keeps coming, as there are more hostages being held than first reported. Israeli officials now say 199 people are confirmed as captured, including small children. Plus, Taylor Swift spent the weekend in New York with her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce. They were surrounded by security, minus one of Taylor's bodyguards who protected her on tour. He just left to fight in the Middle East. And it's been a long road to recovery for a man who survived a grizzly bear attack, and he's still got ways to go. This Friday the 13th has been a day of tension and worries...following Hamas' call for a day of rage and what appears to be the imminent invasion of Israeli ground troops into Gaza. Around the world, security has been beefed up. And here in New York many are choosing to work remotely so they don't have to leave home. And the mass exodus has begun after 1.1 million people in the north of Gaza were told by Israel to vacate the area before the expected ground invasion...the United Nations says that is simply "impossible." There is literally nowhere for so many people to go. Meantime, the Israeli military just released a video from the first day of the conflict. It shows them recapturing a post taken over by Hamas - giving a glimpse of what may be to come. Plus, they're the reigning Super Bowl champs so you can't necessarily say Taylor Swift's the Chief's good luck charm. However, she was at last night's game against the Broncos and they did win. But the big news that has people buzzing...she met Travis Kelce's dad. And she celebrated turning 104 by becoming the oldest person to skydive. A week later, Dorothy Hoffner died. Tomorrow is Friday the 13th and for the superstitious, that's always been an ominous day. Israel's airstrikes against Gaza continued today, five days after the attack by Hamas terrorists. The death toll now exceeds 2,100, which according to the State Department, includes 22 Americans. Israel is making good on its pledge of a 'complete siege' of the Gaza Strip. No place there is said to be safe, which is of huge concern to the families of the 150 hostages. As Ann Mercogliano reports, securing their release is a top priority. And while the war is raging in the Middle East, the conflict is reverberating here in the US. Antisemitic incidents are at historic levels, and here in New York, which has the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, the FBI is warning people to remain vigilant in case of lone-wolf attacks. So, could a terror attack happen here? Steven Fabian looks at the possibility. Plus, amidst the horrors of the war, we are hearing inspiring stories of heroes. This young woman is being credited with protecting a community as the terrorists moved in, saving many lives. And she was the darling of the 1984 Olympics, winning gold and America's hearts. But now, 55-year-old Mary Lou Retton is said to be seriously ill and in intensive care.
