Time We Discuss Careers: The Back Story of Time We Discuss

#origin #backstory #career #newcareers #careerchange #why In this segment of "Time We Discuss" I look at the reason WHY I started this project. I look back over the past year and tell the story about how this idea came to be. I don't just stop there, I also talk about how an experience in 2023 propelled me to go down this road and create a space for a conversation among professionals. I hope this video gives you a good understanding about how this channel came to be and why it's worth sharing. In a world where everyone is competing for everyone's attention, this channel deserves the attention of anyone that is starting a new career or thinking about changing careers. Many people are feeling lost or unfulfilled when it comes to what they do for a living. My hope is that people can learn from these videos and discover a path that will give them joy and a sense of accomplishment. #origin #backstory #career #newcareers #careerchange #why ================================================================= Timestamp: 0:00 - Intro 1:30 - It all starts with the wife changing jobs 2:50 - Career coach and job matching evaluation 4:18 - Job evaluation results 5:06 - Search for other resources for types of jobs that exist 6:45 - Opportunity realization 7:17 - Wife's reaction 8:27 - Make it happen 8:46 - Getting started 10:05 - Who Time We Discuss is trying to help - new career.
