The Design of Insight

This collection of texts focuses on a novel problem-solving platform utilising what the authors call "flexons", which are described as universal modelling languages for tackling complex business issues. Unlike purely technical ones, the core idea is that business problems are often ill-defined and require careful articulation before solutions can be sought. The flexons, including Networks, Decision Agent, System Dynamics, Evolutionary, and Information Processing, provide distinct perspectives and variables for analysing these predicaments. By employing these different "lenses," problem solvers can gain deeper insights and generate more effective, often counterintuitive, solutions, emphasising that no single approach is universally superior and that diversity in viewpoints is crucial for navigating complex challenges.
