Fighter vs. Writer: BKFC 41 Preview Show With Luke Rockhold, Mike Perry and Chad Mendes
Ahead of perhaps the biggest BKFC card in history, The Fighter vs. The Writer will be headlined by three of the fighters competing on Saturday including both main event athletes as Luke Rockhold and Mike Perry join the show. Rockhold will fight for the first time since retiring but then securing his UFC release so he could pursue a career outside the octagon. He will now compete in bare-knuckle for the first time ever while taking on a BKFC veteran in Perry. Rockhold will address his decision to return to action while also discussing his issues with the UFC and hopes that more athletes will stand up for themselves when it comes to money and opportunities. Perry also joins the show to talk about the fight with Rockhold and his expectations clashing with a former UFC champion who has never fought bare-knuckle previously. Perry will also react to the recent news that Nate Diaz will fight Jake Paul in a boxing match as well as Diaz’s wild weekend filled with street fights in New Orleans. Finally, Mendes joins the show to preview his fight with Eddie Alvarez and he’ll address if this will possibly be the final bout of his entire career.
