TEEN GIRL CHEERLEADER DEAD ON CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP, FBI JOINS INVESTIGATION

Anna Kepner, 18, starts her senior year at Temple Christian School, excited about her future.

Anna paints her parking spot to match her favorite movie,"Clueless," and is ecstatic to be back on the field, cheering for the Lions. She loves the water and is licensed to boat and scuba-certified. She also enjoys making TikTok videos with her friends and brother.

Anna plans on joining the military after high school and is already in talks with recruiters. In fact, she’s waiting on the results of her ASVAB testing to determine which jobs will suit her best.

Anna Kepner, a cheerleader, was found dead aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship during a recent western Caribbean voyage that ended in Miami on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The FBI is now investigating the death.

Carnival has stated it is fully cooperating with the investigation. The cause of death has not been released, and an autopsy is pending.

Anna Kepner's Celebration of Life will be held November 20.

Chandra Levy’s mom says DC prosecutors refuse to help her

Chandra Levy’s mom says DC prosecutors refuse to help her

The mother of Chandra Levy, the Washington intern found murdered in a DC park a year after she disappeared in May 2001, sat down with Crime Stories' Nancy Grace to discuss a possible new act being sought that would allow outside agencies to help law enforcement solve cold cases. Susan Levy says Chandra’s pants and other items were left outside for years after her murder at Rock Creek Park many people touched the evidence and contaminated it. Cold Case Research Institute Director Sheryl McCollum joined the discussion for this episode, noting that new touch DNA technology could help solve the case. Prosecutors however are reportedly not willing to spend funds to use the latest crime-solving technology, such as touch DNA or the M-Vac system, to help solve Chandra’s case. Susan said when she asked prosecutors in Washington, D.C., to retest the evidence in Chandra’s case, they told her “it’s all been done.” Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
