THE GARDEN OF EDEN is perhaps the most important location for the history of mankind. If the Bible is true, then it is the place where humanity began, sparked by the intervention of the Creator who breathed life into a soulless pile of dirt. WILL THE ANTICHRIST PRESENT HIMSELF AS THE JEWISH MESSIAH? That’s the question our returning guest Chris White tackles with Basil and Gonz in this episode of Canary Cry Radio 074, False Christ. The discussion is about his most recent book, False Christ: Will the Antichrist Claim to be the Jewish Messiah? While many Biblical scholars and commentators have speculated on the identity of the Antichrist, shaped by the contemporary geopolitical climate, Chris White takes the topic and uses only the Bible to present his thesis. Without any influence from the current turmoil in the middle east, or the global conspiracy which we all know and talk about so much, Chris’ view on the Antichrist has evolved from that of a New Age, Alien savior type, to quite simply, a man who will present himself as fulfilling the Jewish prophecies about the Messiah and Messianic Age.The first thought that might cross your mind when you hear the thesis is, “Isn’t that anti-semitic?” And it’s a fair question that Chris addresses in the episode. The short answer is, No. But there are many other things that can be said about this view. Not only is it Biblically consistent, but it is the view of that was held by the pre-Nicene early church fathers. In other words, the view Chris is presenting is the first view of the Antichrist held by the church. And in terms of logic, it makes sense that if the true Christ was in fact a Jew, then the False Christ would also present himself as a Jew. The discussion deepens as Chris get’s into why he believes that Mystery Babylon is the eschatological Jerusalem; that is the Jerusalem that is ruled by the Antichrist in the end times. But what’s really important to know, is space robots. In this FLYBY, the first of what are called the “Apocalypse Update,” Basil and Gonz discuss the strange robots that are in orbit around the earth right now and the brain that might be controlling them. GRACE IS NOT A WORD that you often find associated with Gay. But for Brandon and John of FreeIndeed Ministries, the two words are simply synonymous. In The Gay Episode, Basil and Gonz have a discussion with Brandon and John about their ministry and how they approach the subject matter with the grace that only God can provide. In our current cultural milieu, homosexuality and the “Gay Agenda” is a heated topic with Christians finding themselves right in the middle of the battlefield. On the surface, there are only two sides to the conversation; people in favor of the Gay Agenda and people who are opposed to it.Often times, those in favor will consider themselves progressive, accepting, and tolerant while those who oppose the Gay Agenda, usually associated as Christians, are considered bigots, close minded, and full of hate. But in fact the reality of the situation is far more complex. Not only are there more than the polarized sides that the mass media would like us to believe, but the political propaganda associated with homosexuality has also muddied the waters, making this subject particularly difficult to navigate. Within the Christian world, the issue is also quite divided. There are some Christians who are outright against anyone who calls themselves homosexuals, calling it a greater sin than any other. These Christians often mention Sodom and Gomorrah, and several other passages that mention God’s disdain for such behavior but what they seem to lack is grace. On other other hand, there are those who justify the Gay Agenda and tout that the lifestyle itself is completely acceptable to God.Brandon and John toe a very fine line in between these two areas. While they do not see homosexuality as any greater sin than gossip or adultery, they also do not condone the behavior as being particularly Godly. Prophecy Update with John HallerTHE MIDDLE EAST is going crazy and all the media bias is extremely apparent. Yet there is no shortage of speculations on how this might relate to Biblical Prophecy within the community of those who are paying attention. And still, the majority of the Evangelical community are ignorant of the issue, and worse, denounce those who pay attention to the sign of the times. In this episode, Basil and Gonz have a discussion with pastor and lawyer John Haller, the man behind the Prophecy Update on YouTube. They discuss John’s experience of seeing a lack of discernment within church leadership which eventually led him to abandon 15 years of involvement with them as well as 25 years of involvement on the evangelical college and seminary board. John Haller is a graduate of Grace College with a degree in Sociology, Indiana State with a Masters in criminology, and a degree in law from Indiana State’s school of law. He’s currently the co-pastor at Fellowship Bible Chapel (FB Chapel) out in Ohio. He’s been an elder for 15 years at a large church, as well as on the board of Evangelical College and Seminary for 25 years. THE THREE BIGGEST QUESTIONS for mankind are 1.) Where are we from? 2.) Why are we here? and 3.) Where do we go when we die? The first two questions have been debated for as long as recorded human history. However, the third question, “Where do we go when we die?” is a bit more difficult to answer and investigate because people don’t normally return from the dead to tell us about it. Or do they? According to those who have investigated the phenomenon called the Near Death Experiences, there is most certainly a life after death. People who have had Near Death Experiences have often reported similar accounts which indicate that there may be something to it.In this episode, Basil and Gonz discuss some facts and speculations about the Near Death Experiences. They also each tell a stories of people who had some amazing Near Death Experiences.First, Basil tells a story about a man named Shawn Weed and his Near Death Experience.
