We're learning more about the ransacking of actor Brad Pitt's home after Los Angeles police say three suspects scaled a fence while he was on a worldwide tour promoting his new movie. As Steven Fabian reports, it's just  the latest in a string of high-profile break-ins of celebrity homes. And the sky's the limit for the wedding of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. They've got everything a bride and groom could ask for…an unlimited budget, a gorgeous setting in one of the world's most romantic cities, and a star-studded guest list. Yes, they thought of everything, but somebody forgot to tell Mother Nature to please hold the rain. Plus, it's being called the "swinger's defense." Sean Combs' defense lawyers made their final summation to the federal jury at his sex trafficking trial today. And they put forward the argument that the rap mogul had a "swinger’s lifestyle” that may not be for everyone, but is not criminal. Les Trent is at the courthouse. And it was this the worst cruise ever? It happened, in 2013, when a fire in the engine room led to a loss of power...and a breakdown in the ship's sanitary conditions. The notorious incident came to be known as the "poop cruise." and now it's the subject of a big new Netflix documentary. President Trump is having quite a mood swing. Last night he was ecstatic posting that a ceasefire had been reached between Israel and Iran and there was finally peace, but after missiles started flying again, he became enraged. Today, while speaking with reporters, he got so worked up he dropped a bomb of his own. And the thought of World War III breaking out has touched a nerve on our shores, reigniting the doomsday prepper movement with Americans getting ready for the worst. And what about those old fallout shelters constructed decades ago during the Cold War? Are they still there?  Plus, they were having a bachelorette party on a boat and as they headed out to sea, they joked about it being the 50th anniversary of the movie Jaws... And what do you know...a giant shark showed up! And as they say in the movie- ‘We're gonna need a bigger boat!’ And authorities say a mass shooting at a church was averted when a gunman was taken down before he had a chance to open fire on parishioners and a security guard is being hailed a hero. Iran retaliated for the U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear sites by sending missiles to bomb U.S. airbases in Qatar and Iraq. No injuries or casualties were reported. This comes as fear builds that Iran has also woken up sleeper cells across America to spread terror here on our shores. And the airstrikes, codenamed Operation Midnight Hammer, were meticulously planned...involving a complex, synchronized attack on three key nuclear sites that were carried out by Tomahawk missiles and B-2 bombers - the military's premiere stealth bomber, according to US military authorities. So, what's it like to fly one? Inside Edition spoke with an Air Force veteran who knows firsthand. Plus, when word came of an active shooter at a church right in the middle of Sunday services, social media lit up with worry it was a terror attack in the wake of the airstrikes in Iran. Turns out it was a local resident having a mental breakdown, but it still caused plenty of panic. And the countdown is on for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s big wedding - set for this weekend in Venice. The bride and groom are already in party mood, hosting a foam party on their yacht, but not everyone is sharing in their wedding bliss. Juror number eleven from the Karen Read trial is speaking out. She says she didn't believe the prosecutor's claim that Read murdered her cop boyfriend John O’Keefe by mowing him down in her SUV... and instead sided with the defense's claim that O’Keefe died after being beaten at a house party. Her words give us a better understanding of why Karen Read walked away a free woman. And it's the first day of summer and America is already bracing for a major heatwave, so it’s a perfect time for a reminder to never leave a child or pet in a hot car. A woman saw a dog panting in 90-degree weather so, unable to find the owner, she opened the car door and gave the dog water, then she got the shock of her life. When a police officer arrived, she was the one who faced criticism from the officer.  The driver declined to press charges against the woman. Plus, a scary moment for a congressman while driving down the highway. He says another driver started honking his horn at him and then tried to run him off the road, so he called 911. This comes as authorities say more and more politicians are being targeted. And there was no one more successful in TV journalism than Barbara Walters - the first woman to anchor a national evening newscast. But as driven as she was professionally, she wasn't so lucky when it came to love. It was a terrifying day at the beach as a 10-year-old girl swimming just feet away from her mom was attacked by a shark that almost got away with her hand. Amazingly, doctors were able to re-attach her hand, and she's on the way to recovery with the help of a big yellow foam arm cradle that a lot of people say looks like Swiss cheese. And what do you do after being acquitted of murdering your boyfriend? If you're Karen Read, you party. She and her lawyers had a big celebration last night, and today the first juror is speaking out about all the behind the scenes drama in the deliberation room. Plus, we're learning new details about the death of Food Network star Anne Burrell. Reports now say it was her husband who found her unresponsive... and that she was laying on the floor of the shower. And with talk of war building in the Middle East, thousands of Americans in Israel are desperate to get home...but with airports closed that's no easy task. We've told you how some were escaping on a cruise ship, but this guy actually made it out on a tiny catamaran sailboat. Big reaction to the sudden and unexpected death of one of the food network's biggest personalities, Anne Burrell.  She was found unresponsive on the floor of her Brooklyn home at just 55 years old.  We won't have an official cause of death until the autopsy, but the 9-1-1 caller did say Burrell was in cardiac arrest. So, was it a heart attack? And President Trump hoisted one of two new 100-foot flag poles on the north and south lawns of the White House. It comes as he's closely monitoring the unrest in the Middle East, and the big question is - will the U.S. deploy its huge- bunker buster bomb needed to hit the main nuclear facility in Iran. Plus, the largest jewelry theft in U.S. history. Three years ago, thieves tracked a Brinks truck to a rest stop where they stole 24 bags of jewelry worth 150 million dollars. Now, seven suspects have been charged in the heist. And you've seen our reporter Alison Hall share her breast cancer journey here on Inside Edition and you may recall she credits Hollywood star Olivia Munn, who had a similar health crisis, for alerting her to a specific screening test that ultimately saved her and Alison’s life. Now, for the first time, they are meeting face to face.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
