From Fede Álvarez comes the 2013 remake of Sam Raimi's 1981 classic, The Evil Dead!   This time around, there is no Bruce Campbell to be found, nor the franchise's trademark humor. Instead, you've got a straight ahead, take no prisoners violent exploitation on the eyes and ears, and the audience is all the better for it.   While Bruce is absent on screen, he and Raimi are behind the camera as producers.
