She’s taking the moral high ground as a hero. -Spike ate a decorator like on iZombie. -Spike and Buffy’s behavior is mutually inappropriate/ -Sarah Michelle Gellar’s least favorite scene ever also felt out of character for us. -Spike and Buffy would work if they could both just be normal humans. But they’re not. -Tara is still the best and she deserves so much better than these people. -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Angel season 3, episode 13, "Waiting in the Wings": -The Dumpster Love is in full force. -Angel is such a dork and we love him and his artistic side. -This episode gives us Phantom of the Opera vibes. Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 6, episode 12, "Doublemeat Palace": -Synopsis -There is mad love and mad hate for this episode. -Sarah Michele Gellar was in Burger King commercials as a kid. -The burgers are not made of people, they're made of VEGETABLES! *GASP* Beef fat is the secret ingredient. -Sex in the alley sounds, well sexy, but it didn't look it at all. -What is going on with Buffy and Spike here? -Was Helfrich right in her understanding of the Xander/Anya relationship? -Xander constantly correcting Anya is usually played for laughs, but is it at least a little problematic? -It was the old lady! Didn't see that one coming. -Amy 'gifts' Willow some magic for her birthday. Was it retaliation or an actual 'gift'? -Willow is working hard to overcome her addiction, and we just hope the show sticks through this to the end. -Maj shares the German and French titles for this episode. -Xander and Dawn discuss Buffy's job prospects for the future. -Buffy really should be getting paid by the Watcher's Council and Willow should be helping pay the bills if she's gonna live there. -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Angel season 3, episode 12, "Provider": -Synopsis -Oh how the tables have turned! Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 6, episode 10, “Wrecked”: -Let's start with a little Tara love. -She is responsible and worried about caring for Dawn when Buffy and Willow are handling their personal problems. -Buffy and Spike are just outright mean to each other post-sex. -Did we feel bad for Spike after the stuff Buffy had to say? -Do we feel bad for Buffy after Spike volleys her insults back at her? -Buffy's reaction to the sex is similar to Spike's reaction to his first Buffy dream. -Willow and the Drug/Magic Den -Buffy lets Willow know she messed up. -She is there for her friend, despite being a Mama bear over Dawn's involvement. -We read Ariana's point straight from the doc about Willow and her addiction. It's an important realization. -Lots of Willow talk. Is this rock bottom? -Is it fair for the show to compare Buffy's addiction to Spike with Willow's magic addiction? -Did Amy know Rack in high school? -Could he have been her introduction to magic once her mother was turned into a trophy? -If we're equating magic and sex (which we've talked about before) what is going on with Rack and Willow? -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Angel season 3, episode 10, "Dad": -How cute is Daddy Angel? -Lorne moves into the hotel and starts hearing a mysterious humming noise. -Holtz kills the mindless lackeys, goes for a new protege instead. -Kristen thought Holtz decided not to kill Angel in the last episode, so she was confused when he came back with plans for more vengeance. -Cordy is trying to be the supportive friend and advise Angel to let them all help with the baby and he is acting the fool a bit. -Who else kept getting more angry with Angel for not trusting Cordy and Co with the baby? -Cordelia, aka Angel's soulmate, is the first person to hold little baby Connor. -So, are Wolfram and Hart really backing down?
