Bonus Episode! This is a shorter bonus episode, and there’s not much information yet on this case. It’s a case that is straight out of a horror movie and is so unbelievably horrifying and devastating. On the 13th of July, Milwaukee’s District 3 Police Officers were called in response to distress calls regarding two naked young boys - aged 7 and 9 - roaming South 71st Street, covered in blood, waste, bruises, and red marks. A 911 caller reported seeing a woman forcefully pulling one of the boys back inside their home. This woman was Katie Koch– And her house, some are calling the Milwaukee House of Horrors. In the true crime world, we talk about a lot of cases that have previously been solved. However, we also cover quite a bit of cases that are current and need more eyes and ears on watch to try and bring closure to families, be a voice for justice, or bring victims home. Recently, a new case took the media by storm. Tons of agencies were involved, and it became the most highly talked about case for a few days. Things weren’t seeming to add up, but many people were trying to give the benefit of the doubt and hope for justice.  However, on Wednesday, July, 19th, law enforcement hosted a press conference that had many people wondering how something like this actually happened and why someone would create such an elaborate scene and story. Bryan Kohberger was recently granted a stay on his case, temporarily pausing the clock on the countdown for his speedy trial until August 11, 2023. His defense team was granted access to the grand jury transcripts, which they will go through now since they believe there was exculpatory information left out in the proceedings, according to their original motion when they asked the court for a stay.
