Lauren Toyota is a former MTV Canada host and a YouTube sensation. Her channel and blog, Hot For Food, attract a wide and engaged audience of young people curious about how to make vegan food fast and fun. In less than two years, her YouTube channel has gained 330,000 subscribers. She lives in Toronto, Canada. Her cookbook, Vegan Comfort Classics: 101 Recipes To Feed Your Face (Coming out February 27, 2018), is a fun and irreverent take on vegan comfort food that’s saucy, sweet, sassy, and most definitely deep-fried. Lauren's life back then wasn't so easy. She used to be bullied for being mixed race which made her feel isolated. She has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30’s Social Entrepreneur in Europe in 2017 at 24 years old, was awarded Young Achiever at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards and the Hong Kong Youth Service Award. The Entrepreneur.com has listed her as one of 30 International Entrepreneurs Really Are Solving the World's Problems. Lensational is a non-profit social enterprise based in Hong Kong and London, aiming to equip underprivileged women with cameras and photography training to empower them emotionally and economically. Lensational has served 400 women and girls from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Bhutan, Cambodia, Thailand and Kenya. She now manages 50 volunteers spanning across 18 countries. Bonnie used to question her own abilities but when she read stories of unsung heroes taking action and creating a positive impact on the world, that is when she also decided to start Lensational. Samantha Jo is an actress and a martial artist. She got her first introductions into the Hollywood stunt industry after her Olympic feat. By age 18 and with a filmography that already included Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Sucker Punch (in which she stunt doubled Jena Malone), Samantha moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her career. It is here that landed her breakout role of “Kitana” in the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web-series as well as “Car-vex” in the superhero blockbuster: Man of Steel. Now, she has been studying at Studio 4, a Los Angeles based acting school for the past 3 years and steadily growing as an artist.
