Blake Chappell was only 17 in October of 2011, when he attended his high school homecoming dance with his girlfriend. He paused, allowing the woman on the other end of the phone to process the news and soon she began sobbing and weeping. After a few moments, she calmed her panicked voice and asked the officer one simple question that caused his heart to stop and stayed his breath within his chest.
