Patreon.com/RememberTheGame When most people think of first-person shooters on the Nintendo 64, I think 3 games come to mind: Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. We've already covered the first 2 (as I played the hell out of them back in the day), but I'd never touched Turok until a few weeks ago. It's time to hunt dinosaurs.  Turok's a weird game. Not because I don't understand the story or because I think the controls are weird, but because it's just...there. It's not BAD, but I don't know if it's good. If I had played it growing up, I'm confident I woulda loved it, but by 2023 standards, it's kinda empty. But the core gameplay is fun enough to keep me from hating it.
