This week's 3P Champion podcast features one of my closest personal friends since high school, but that's not why he's a 3P Champion. Through Jazz, Gregg Gelb continues to enhance the lives of hundreds of young people in North Carolina. A former high school and college athlete, Gregg ultimately returned devotedly to his first love, music - and has now brought his Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble from North Carolina to Lincoln Center for the last seven years, to compete in the national finals of the "Everything Ellington" competition, spearheaded by Wynton Marsalis. A fabulous friend, tremendous musician, inspiring teacher and mentor, Gregg's modesty belies his ethics and accomplishments, and we are very proud to present Dr. Gelb as a 3P Champion.
