Om episode

Can we just say how beautiful and resonant this story is with the teenage experience. Really, this resonates with any person trying to figure out their emotions, regardless of age. Also, Jordan and Em talk about how they don’t think they have as much empathy as the main character Charlie, even though he’s roughly half their age. For such a little book, this story takes on some huge topics and it shows in the movie, too. Our Drink for this Book: Any cheap beer or wine you would have gotten in high school Our Drinking Game for this Movie: We made up our own game for this one because we wanted to have one for the book and one for the movie. Movie Game: Take a drink whenever someone says ‘good music’ or references a song and talks about how good the song is. It’s simple but effective if you’re looking to continuously drink during this movie. Book Game: Finish your drink every time the book gets too real for you, to help you deal with the difficult topics this book covers in its short 200 pages.   A Novel Adaptation was created by Emily Eppley and Jordan Redwine.
