Ever been so fed up with the world you’ve decided to sit on your arse and do sod all about it? Then join the support group for fellow slacktivists and sit on your arse listening to MPs, journalists, experts and know-nothing comedians such as the chairman Andy Parsons. Having thrashed over a current topic, the Slacktivist Action Group will then decide on one piece of direct action to try to achieve before the next month’s meeting, in the full knowledge this will be unlikely/impractical/poorly attended. After this, who knows, you may even be inspired enough to get off your arse and join the Slacktivist Action Group with your actual physical presence and not just your ears – or perhaps, more likely, you’ll simply post amusing apologies for absence at www.andyparsons.co.uk.
