What Does Jesus Think . . . of Motherhood? This is the fourth Sunday of Easter. It is a day that the Church reminds us the victory of the Resurrection is not only a victory for Jesus, but a victory that involves us! Curiously, there is no one that celebrates Motherhood greater than Jesus. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, comes into this world by preparing for Himself . . . a perfect mother! Obviously, we all love our mothers. But there is something that is not thought of enough by Christians. There is something marvelous about motherhood that the Word of God was pleased to experience it Himself. Think about that statement. God, the Creator of Man, was pleased to experience motherhood.
