The Lesson for Us of the Parable of the Prodigal Son … and 9/11 In today’s Gospel we hear three parables, The Lost Sheep, The Lost Coin, and the parable of the Lost Son … the parable of the Prodigal Son. The homily touches upon the first two parables, and explores the third in detail. We all know this parable. However, Christians often miss what Our Lord is really saying in this parable.
