LaLiga: El Clásico recap | Real Madrid prevails in back-and-forth affair | Title hopes for Barca dashed (Soccer 04/22)

The MF crew take a look at the latest edition of El Clásico played this past weekend. With a win, Real Madrid all but secures the title and they did just that in a back-and-forth match overcoming Barca 3-2 in the end. Madrid have now scored 95 goals in all comps, hold an 11 point lead for the LaLiga title, have a 26 match unbeaten streak in the league, are in the semifinals of Champions League, and already won the 2024 Supercopa de España. Barca on the other hand, have crashed out of Champions League, are virtually eliminated from LaLiga title race, and their coach Xavi plans on exiting at the end of the season.
