On May 5, 1993, three 8-year-old boys, Steve Branch, Christopher Byers and Michael Moore, went missing in the early evening hours in West Memphis, Arkansas. Their bodies were found the next day submerged in a creek in a park-like area known as Robin Hood Hills. About a month later three suspects, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, were arrested and charged with their murders. All three were convicted in early 1994. Baldwin and Misskelley received life sentences, while Echols was sentenced to death. In Part 2, we discuss the trials, the documentaries and the aftermath.
