Hate Meditation? Here's how to get all of the benefits without all the effort: My ADHD friendly alternative
Om avsnittet
Meditation.Celebrity A listers, medical professionals and a multitude of studies have been praising this free technique and enjoying the very real benefits. ADHD wise, it really is helpful in counteracting some of the negatives (by targeting your prefrontal cortex, it's science apparently!)...But none of that makes a difference if we find it painful to sit down and meditate in the first place. Personally my endless racing thoughts cannot be switched off at will - that's kind of the whole ADHD deal - I end up planning tonight's dinner, counting down the seconds or the opposite, falling fast asleep! So what can we do?! in today's episode I'm going to share a technique that works in the same way as meditation whilst keeping you awake and engaged. I actually find it similar to stimming - mindfulness with fidgets đMentioned: https://www.youtube.com/@tapwithbradDon't forget to let me know how you got on, come comment on my socials listed below.
