Mimics & Immitator Spirits

The fae, the Skogsrå, the Rougarou, the Kitsune, and the Doppelgänger, among many others, have appeared in folklore for centuries across cultures worldwide. The one thing they have in commin - they are immitator spirits. They imitate a loved one, human or animal - but why? Some theorize they want to lead people deeper into the woods for nefarious reasons, other think that entities like the Dopplegangers and Mimics thrive off the chaotic energy and confusion they receive.
