The Tale of the Seventh Sun

In the ancient oral traditions of the Munda people of Odisha, there is a tale as bright as dawn itself. A story of seven blazing suns, a world scorched by heat, and the courage it took to bring light back in harmony. When the earth burns under seven suns, seven brave brothers rise to save it… but when the final sun hides in fear, darkness falls over forests and rivers alike.

Lions roar, elephants trumpet, peacocks plead yet nothing can coax the sun back. Until a small, shy rooster steps forward with the softest “kukdukoo”… and changes the world forever.

This is a story about courage in unexpected places, the balance of nature, and how even the quietest voice can bring back the light.
