Welcome to episode 173 of the Sexology Podcast! Today it’s my pleasure to welcome Dr. Rachel Needle to the podcast. In this episode Dr. Needle speaks with me about threesomes, how common fantasizing about them is, learning to manage your emotions and being honest about your motivation.

Dr. Rachel Needle is the founder and Executive Director of the Whole Health Psychological Center. She is a Licensed Psychologist, Certified Sex Therapist, and an entrepreneur. Dr. Needle has specialized training in the areas of Substance Use Disorder, Trauma, Sex, and Relationships. She received her M.S. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University, her B.A. in psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University, and completed an internship in clinical psychology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey: Robert Wood Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Dr. Needle is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology in the Department of Behavioral Sciences, in the Masters in Forensic Psychology, and in the Doctorate in Criminal Justice programs at Nova Southeastern University. She is the founder and CEO of the Advanced Mental Health Training Institute and Co-Director of Modern Sex Therapy Institutes which provide continuing education, certifications, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology to Mental Health and Medical professionals and Sex Therapists around the world.

Dr. Needle has presented her research and clinical work at national and international conferences. She is often interviewed by and quoted in national media outlets. She has been featured in a number of popular magazines such as Details, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Details, and Shape, and papers including the Washington Post and the Palm Beach Post. She has written several articles for Glamour Magazine’s online Blog: Smitten.

Welcome to episode 01 of the Sexology Podcast, today my guest is Dr Albert Wong. Dr Albert Wong is Marshall Scholar educated at Princeton and Oxford and has received extensive training in couple’s therapy from some of the nation’s leading relationship experts. In the 1990s, he served as residential staff at the Esalen Institute for five years and has been featured on PBS, in Time Magazine, and the book The American Soul Rush. His work has been published in titles ranging from the scientific journal Biological Cybernetics to the book anthology Radical Spirit. One of his film projects, Step One Breathe, was named Best Drama at the Maryville Film Festival.
