They say that much death leaves a mark. But at Waverly Hills Sanatorium, it didn't just leave a mark—it tore a hole in reality.

This week, we are checking into the most infamous tuberculosis hospital in American history. We cover everything: the history of the "White Plague," the claustrophobic terror of the quarantine, and the infamous "Body Chute" used to hide the dead from the living.

We then dare to unlock the door to Room 502, the epicenter of the sanatorium’s haunting activity, where nurses allegedly took their own lives and shadows still keep watch.
