Lindsay & The Gambling Physical Abuser | Domestic Violence & Narcissistic Abuse

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Lindsay shares her journey of overcoming intergenerational trauma and her abusive marriage. Lindsay met her husband at a wedding, where she felt seen by him, and the relationship moved quickly from there. Lindsay felt like they had two lives, one impacted by her partner's gambling addiction trips, and the other when they were at home. Over time, the addiction took its toll, and the putdowns, name-calling, gaslighting, and eventual physical abuse ramped up.

It's a story of trauma bonding, gaslighting, addiction, future faking, physical abuse, sexual assault, support, isolation, self worth, intergenerational trauma, financial reliance, divorce, putdowns, custody, post separation abuse, and healing.
