DTL - Part 7: The Journal

DTL - Part 7: The Journal

Geralyn Desoto’s life came to a tragic end when the 21 year old LSU graduate was murdered in her home in Addis, Louisiana on January 14th 2002. The initial investigation and discovery of a journal kept by Geralyn would place her husband at the center of the investigation as the prime suspect, Meanwhile, her killer, would go undetected and free to proceed with a series of violent murders yet to be committed.

Derrick Todd Lee (DTL) terrorized the Baton Rouge and Lafayette Louisiana. A Serial Killer who took the lives of at least (7) women in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, Lee’s reign of terror finally ended in late May of 2003 when he was captured in Atlanta, GA after being linked by DNA to several of the murders.
