PHEC 238: Workplace Bias, Burnout, and Entrepreneurship, With Glennae Davis

Our honored guest on this episode is Glennae Davis, author of Yet Here I Stand: My Journey From Bondage to Liberty and Bias and Burnout: 10 Power Moves for Healthcare Workplace Equity, as well as the CEO and Founder of Rx For Life, a health equity, consultancy, and education agency.

In this conversation, we discuss her career journey and how she discovered entrepreneurship or, more accurately, how it found her! As a Black woman with a vibrant nursing career in critical care, Glennae knows about bias and burnout in the healthcare industry!

You'll hear the story of an injury, compounded by her gender and race, that resulted in a four-year journey through the world of workplace compensation, rife with discrimination and institutional racism.
