Our 2025 Wrap-up: Fighting "Inshitification" and the Pivot to Real-World Impact

It's our second-last episode of the year, and the last is New Year's Eve, so this is a 2025 wrap-up!

David has picked out some of his favourite moments from the podcast this year and is exploring two big themes: the "human-first restoration" (a rebellion against the "inshitification" of digital platforms) and the "impact pivot," where tech’s greatest minds (we think) are abandoning viral clicks to solve for water, power, and human rights. Obviously some aren't, but we're looking for the positives here folks!

Featuring insights from pioneers like Jack McCauley and 'Rabble' Evan Henshaw Plath, we examine how the most honest conversations are finally making our technology more human.
