About CAP Selects Season 5 of CAP Selects is a weekly series showcasing the exceptional work of our Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering students. During the second-year of study, students are tasked with writing a five-track album from scratch that realises a creative vision. An opportunity to explore any idea they choose – the only limitations to this brief is that one of the tracks must be collaborative and another must be covers or reinterpretations of original work. This week is She noise's instant. Here’s what they said about their project: Modern technology has made life incredibly convenient, but this ease comes at a cost. With endless choices in the digital world, society has grown detached from real experiences and emotions. Our mini record highlights the overwhelming nature of modern consumerism and how it shapes our lives, leaving us with a lot of places we can escape to at the touch of our fingertips.
