Ep 2 with Doctor Pete Barone

Dr. Lordan interviews Dr. Pete Barone, a residency trained orthopedic and manual physical therapist who currently works as an Outpatient PT in Woburn, Massachusetts. Dr. Pete explains how he got to where he is today, and some advice that he wish he had given his younger self when he was a new grad physical therapist. More about Dr. Barone:

Dr. Barone has been practicing physical therapy since 2012, after graduating from University of Hartford with a Bachelors in Health Science and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. During his time at the University of Hartford, he played Lacrosse at the division one level. Pete is focused on assisting patients return to the activities that they love and enjoy. He started his career in Connecticut, working for Hartford Hospital Outpatient Division and worked there for 2 years before moving to Massachusetts to be closer to family. During his career, Pete has worked with several local high school sports working on strength and conditioning programs to help them achieve their goals. Dr. Barone is Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), has complete level one of the Institute of Manual Therapy, and has received his Fellowship of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) from Boston University. Dr. Barone is certified in Dry Needling, Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping. Throughout his career, Dr. Barone has worked with a wide variety of patients, from children to geriatric population. He specializes in orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, and complex surgical rehabilitation. He has worked with athletes from high school to professional levels.
