Skurile Klänge mit minimalem Inhalt und umgekehrt.

M.Rueter - DiscoKing, Produzent, Lebenskünstler, Feiertyp - hat es sich gemeinsam mit gleichgesinnten Mitstreitern zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Nihilismus der elektronischen Klangkultur durch den Minimalismus unserer Zeit zu ersetzen.

Ohne Zweifel ist er auf dem richtigen Weg, bereit die Welt mit Synthetik zurückzuerobern. M.Rueters Tracks sind schön kantig, dreckig und rough, erfrischend disharmonisch mit melancholischen Untertönen und hier und da einer Prise schwarzem Humor. Musik ist für ihn der Selbstzweck schlechthin; nichts was diese Gesellschaft voranbringt.

Da er dieses Phänomen schon früh erkannte,fing er bereits 2001 damit an sich mit Spielzeugen seiner Wahl zu umgeben; Yamaha rmx, roland sh101, mc303, juno, amiga 500 (tracker), um nur einige beim Namen zu nennen. Seit Ende 2003 lebt und produziert M.Rueter in Berlin, einer Stadt deren dreckigen Seiten ihn so sehr abstoßen wie sie ihn anziehen.
