Story Transcript:

Ga: Bhí an fuacht sa gheimhreadh ag dul trí chnámha Siobhan agus Pádraig agus iad ag siúl isteach i Músaem Náisiúnta na hÉireann - Stair an Dúlra.
En: The cold of winter was going through Siobhan and Pádraig's bones as they walked into the Músaem Náisiúnta na hÉireann - Stair an Dúlra (National Museum of Ireland - Natural History).

Ga: Bhí cás speisialta acu an lá sin, cás a raibh greim acu air i bhfad ó shin agus a chuaigh ar iarraidh anois.
En: They had a special case that day, a case they had held onto long ago and was now missing.

Ga: "Cá bhfágfaimis é?" d'fhiafraigh Siobhan agus í ag breathnú thart go néata ar an halla ollmhór lán le cnámharlach dineasár.
En: "Where would we leave it?" Siobhan asked, looking neatly around the huge hall full of dinosaur skeletons.

Ga: Bhí sé cosúil le siopa bréagán móra do dhaoine fásta.
En: It was like a giant toy store for adults.

Ga: "Bhí siad timpeall anseo áit éigin," a dúirt Pádraig, ag tochailt ina pócaí féachaint an bhféadfadh sé an mála lóin a aimsiú as a bhfaca sé riamh.
En: "They were around here somewhere," said Pádraig, rummaging through his pockets to see if he could find the lunch bag that he had ever seen.

Ga: Chaill sé rudaí go minic; fiú a chloch scéalta féin uaireanta.
En: He often lost things; even his own story stone sometimes.

Ga: Gabh sí faoi deara a caillteanas le cáineadh go minic.
En: She often noticed his loss with criticism.

Ga: "Níl cead ag ithe anseo," rabhart Siobhan, a súile ag gliomaigh leis an eagla.
En: "No eating allowed here," Siobhan warned, her eyes glinting with fear.

Ga: Bhí plean ag Siobhan.
En: Siobhan had a plan.

Ga: D’fhéach sí chuici féin ag an bhfoireann, agus bhí díograis feigned ina roibealach.
En: She looked to the staff, with feigned enthusiasm in her gait.

Ga: "Féach an taispeántas nua sin! Ní mór dom é a fheiceáil!" dúirt sí os ard, ag tabhairt faoi deara gur tháinig an mionscálán sonrach chun airde.
En: "Look at that new exhibit! I must see it!" she said loudly, noting that the specific display caught attention.

Ga: Bhí sí ag siúl i dtreo na taispeántas nua le radharc díreach, ag fágáil Pádraig sáinnithe ag an láthair dineasáir.
En: She walked toward the new exhibits with direct focus, leaving Pádraig stranded at the dinosaur site.

Ga: Fós, bhí an seans maith le Pádraig.
En: Still, Pádraig had a good chance.

Ga: Tháinig sé ar an láithreach cáiliúil i ngeall le ocho... sin é.
En: He stumbled upon the famous spot due to an... oh, there it was.

Ga: Bhí an mála lóin sínte díreach taobh thiar de chos mór sauropód, mar a bhí tuairisc tugtha aige.
En: The lunch bag was stretched just behind the giant foot of a sauropod, as he had reported.

Ga: Juraigh sé agus rug sé air, áfach táirchtigthigh, sular ghlas an garda air leis an stua mhór.
En: He swore and grabbed it, however, cautiously, before the guard caught him in the wide arch.

Ga: “Cad é sin agat ann?” arsa an garda.
En: "What do you have there?" asked the guard.

Ga: Bhí sé diongbháilte, a thaithí ní éasca le casadh ar a sháil.
En: He was resolute, not easy to brush off.

Ga: Chuir Pádraig a lámh suas mar fhreagra, ag dréim leis go bhfeicfeadh sé go raibh an mála díreach.
En: Pádraig raised his hand in response, hoping he'd see it was just the bag.

Ga: D’ardaigh Siobhan a guth, á ligean cosúil le saineolaí ar stair dineasáraí.
En: Siobhan raised her voice, pretending to be a dinosaur history expert.

Ga: "An raibh a fhios agat go raibh na sauropóidí seo peaceálacha agus learmharacha?" arsa Siobhan, ag iarraidh athrú a thabhairt ar an áirithint.
En: "Did you know these sauropods were peaceful and huge?" Siobhan said, trying to divert attention.

Ga: D’éirigh an garda doiléir, ach sa deireadh bhain gach duine gáire as an mbeartas neamhshuntasach seo.
En: The guard grew uncertain, but eventually, everyone had a laugh at the innocuous scheme.

Ga: Cuireadh Siobhan agus Pádraig ar aisleacht chun an bia a ithe i gceart sa cheantar beorchtaí.
En: Siobhan and Pádraig were escorted to eat properly in the cafeteria area.

Ga: Bhí sé suaimhneach din an chabhán.
En: It was peaceful there.

Ga: Fuair Siobhan go raibh níos lú imní i gcónaí le hintinn chumhaith a bheith in úsáid.
En: Siobhan found that less worry always came with a smart mind being used.

Ga: Dhá bhealach a bhfuil ábhar maith ann.
En: Two ways where good sense is abundant.

Ga: Nuair a bhí siad críochnaithe, d'fhág siad an músaem níos sásta.
En: When they finished, they left the museum happier.

Ga: Bhí Siobhan níos réchúisí agus bhí Pádraig níos cúramaí lena chuid rudaí.
En: Siobhan was more relaxed, and Pádraig was more careful with his things.

Ga: B'fhéidir gurb é seo an músaem lódóireachta d'eispéireas síoraí suaimhneach.
En: Perhaps this museum was an everlasting tranquil experience for them.
