Sl: Bled je pozimi čaroben.
En: Bled in winter is magical.

Sl: Jezero je mirno, prekrito s tančico rahlega snega.
En: The lake is calm, covered with a veil of light snow.

Sl: Otok s cerkvijo deluje kot iz pravljice.
En: The island with the church looks like something out of a fairytale.

Sl: Letos smo se odpravili na počitnice z nekaj prijatelji.
En: This year, we went on vacation with a few friends.

Sl: Med njimi sta Tanja in jaz, Matej.
En: Among them was Tanja and me, Matej.

Sl: Bila bi običajna Valentinova avantura, če ne bi bil tam tudi skrivnostni zaplet.
En: It would have been an ordinary Valentine's adventure if not for the mysterious twist.

Sl: Dan je bil hladen, zimski veter je prinesel svežino in sproščenost.
En: The day was cold, the winter wind bringing a sense of freshness and relaxation.

Sl: Tanja je bila navdušena.
En: Tanja was excited.

Sl: Imela je s seboj svoj fotoaparat, pripravljena ujeti vsak trenutek za svoj blog.

En: However, soon someone noticed that the boat was no longer at the shore.

Sl: Le list papirja je plapolal na vetru.
En: Only a piece of paper fluttered in the wind.

Sl: Tanja me je pogledala z negotovostjo v očeh.
En: Tanja looked at me with uncertainty in her eyes.

Sl: "Kaj piše?
En: "What does it say?"

Sl: " je vprašala, ko je upihnila nekaj snežink z nosa.
En: she asked as she blew a few snowflakes from her nose.

Sl: Prijel sem papir in prebral.
En: I grabbed the paper and read it.

Sl: V njem je bil opis stare legende o duhu, ki igra trike na obiskovalce.
En: It described an old legend about a ghost that plays tricks on visitors.

Sl: Spoznal sem, da gre za neki lokalni prepir.
En: I realized it was some local prank.

Sl: "Moram raziskati," sem rekel.
En: "I have to investigate," I said.

Sl: "Ali je treba?
En: "Do you have to?"

Sl: " me je vprašala Tanja, zaskrbljena predvsem za skupino.
En: Tanja asked me, concerned primarily for the group.

Sl: "Da, če želimo priti z otoka," sem ji pojasnil.
En: "Yes, if we want to get off the island," I explained to her.

Sl: Zaupala mi je, četudi je bilo to zanjo tvegano glede na njen blog.
En: She trusted me, even though it was risky for her considering her blog.

Sl: Ure smo preživeli prečitajoč starodavne napise in zgledujoč zgodbe s tal v cerkvi.
En: We spent hours reading ancient writings and matching stories with the floors in the church.

Sl: Nato sem opazil nenavadno zaznambo na eni izmed kamnitih plošč.
En: Then I noticed an unusual inscription on one of the stone slabs.

Sl: "Moramo pritisniti," sem rekel.
En: "We have to press it," I said.

Sl: In imel sem prav.
En: And I was right.

Sl: Za ploščo je vodil hodnik v skriti prostor.
En: Behind the slab led a hallway into a hidden room.

Sl: Tam smo našli dokaze, ki so nas vodili k resnici.
En: There we found evidence that led us to the truth.

Sl: Nekdo iz vasi je uprizoril potegavščino, igraje se s starimi zgodbami.
En: Someone from the village had staged a prank, playing with old stories.

Sl: Skupina se je vrnila na obalo prav tako hitro, kakor so nas navzdol posadili v čoln, ki se je nenadoma pojavil.
En: The group returned to the shore just as quickly as we had been seated in the boat, which suddenly reappeared.

Sl: Njihov izraz na obrazih − nejeveren, a navdušen − eden tega dneva ne bo pozabil.
En: Their expressions − incredulous, yet amazed − were something none of us would forget.

Sl: Tanja in jaz sva se spogledala, tokrat s spoštovanjem in sencehlapnim razumevanjem novega partnerstva.

Sl: Naučil sem se, da lahko stopim iz svoje cone udobja in vstopim v avanturo.
En: I learned that I could step out of my comfort zone and step into adventure.

Sl: Medtem pa Tanja ni samo videla priložnost za povečanje svojega bloga.
En: Meanwhile, Tanja didn't just see an opportunity to enhance her blog.

Sl: Cenila je resnično povezavo, ki presega površINSKO.
En: She appreciated a genuine connection, which goes beyond the surface.

Sl: Med hladnim zimskim zrakom na Bledu se je nekaj v meni spremenilo.
En: Amid the cold winter air at Bled, something in me changed.

Sl: Ste me že videli?
En: Have you ever seen me?

Sl: Historik, a sedaj tudi lovec na skrivnosti, s srcem nekoliko bližje pustolovščini in osebi, ki me je ponavadi držala za roko.
En: A historian, but now also a seeker of mysteries, with a heart a bit closer to adventure and to the person who usually held my hand.
