MAKING PEOPLE GUESS WHAT YOU DO.

When someone lands on your profile page you’ve got 8-seconds to let them know:
Who you are
What you do
Who you do it for
And how they can book with you…

Otherwise they’re gonna bounce.

Here are a few ways to create a bio that hits on every level👇🏽

➡️ NAMEPLATE - Your nameplate is is the Most SEARCHABLE part of your bio.

Your nameplate should be [ City/area you’re in ] [ Your Beauty Service you provide ]
Ex. “ TORONTO LASH EXTENSIONS”

It doesn’t matter if someone has the same nameplate, because we’re going to use keywords in our bio to make sure our business stands out from the herd.

➡️ First Line: [ Your Name ] - it Doesn’t need to be your full name. You want to let people know how they should address you when they shoot you a DM.

➡️ Second Line: [ “I Help” Statement ] - This is how you can clearly state what it is that you do and who you help.

Eg. “I help working women keep their nails looking good on the go.“

➡️ Third Line: [ Your Location AGAIN + Services You provide ] - Clearly state the services you provide. Avoid the urge to be cute or clever, be clear and concise. Read the “HACK” below to separate your page from your competitors.

Eg. “ Calgary Lash Extensions | Lash Trainings
🔥 HACK : Putting the address location of your studio in the “Contact Options” section will help get your page to the top of the search results. Here’s how you do it >> Tap “Edit profile” > “Contact options” > Add Studio Address

➡️ Fourth Line : [ Call To Action ] - How can people book with you? What is your booking process flow? You want to make it clear so you don’t lose any hot leads. I like to make it clear by using ALL CAPS.

Eg. “CLICK HERE TO BOOK”
