I am multimillionaire now and most of that wealth did not come from property. Rather, most of it came from crypto and stocks. This shows that buying property is not necessary to build wealth. Getting a vasectomy is the first step towards addressing this problem. You should also try to live with your parents or, if that's not possible, live with housemates. Then we need to invest in investment that will provide returns that are higher than what would be provided in property. Elon Musk is a renter. He is the richest man in the world right now with a net worth approaching US$300 billion. He rents a place close to his work. Arguably this is better than buying the property because he can expose more of his capital to Tesla and SpaceX shares, which have performed very well. If you want to combat housing unaffordability, having kids is a major problem. Having more kids means you need more space to live, which means you have to pay more. Furthermore, having kids means you cannot move easily to where housing is most affordable. Combating housing unaffordability requires embracing mobility and minimalism. If you don't own too much, moving is easy, and if moving is easy, you are not beholden to the demands of any one landlord. As they say, your greatest power is your ability to walk away.
