We're now at week 5 of the Missouri General Assembly (2026)

Senate Update

  • SJR 72 has been referred to the same committee as SB 951

  • Both bills are currently in the Senate Emerging Issues and Professional Registration Committee

  • Committee Chair: Justin Brown

  • No hearing dates have been scheduled

House Update

  • HJR 109 has not been assigned to a committee

  • HB 1682 has been introduced and read but has not received committee action

  • There remains no movement on abolition legislation in the House

Call to Action – Call Every Day

  • Ask to speak directly with the legislator

  • If unavailable, request a return call

  • Tell staff you will call every day until the bills move or the legislator personally responds

  • Ask him to schedule hearings for SJR 72 and SB 951 and to support the bills

Wes publicly invited prominent pro-life leaders to debate the Abolition of Abortion issue.
These leaders are reachable through Missouri legislative offices and staff.

  • Ask him to respond to Wes’ invitation to debate

  • Also ask his Chief of Staff, Sherri Kuttenkuler, to reconsider the invitation

  • Ask for Tom Estes

  • Request that Senator Brattin and Tom Estes reconsider debating Wes

Rally at the Capitol

Jefferson City, Missouri

  • Meet in the Rotunda at 10:00 AM to distribute literature to legislators

  • Prayer will take place in front of both the Speaker’s and President Pro Tem’s offices (time announced on-site)

  • Press conference by Mike Moon at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM

  • Rally begins at 1:00 PM
