Run The Bridge Prisca Chesang of Uganda was the first finisher overall in the Battle of the Sexes at Run the Bridge in Hobart, just seconds ahead of countrymen Kenneth Kiprop and Dan Kibet. The 2023 Tokyo Marathon was won by Deso Gemisa in a sprint finish ahead of Mohamed Esa, both recording a time of 2:05:22, while Canadian Cam Levins set a North American Area Record of 2:05:36.
