Officer Jamie Patterson faces two misdemeanor charges of dereliction of duty for January 2026 incident she responded to while on duty. Patterson works for the Middletown Police Department. A local news station reported that the charges stem from Patterson handcuffing a teenager during a domestic incident and allowing a family member to whip him with a belt.
