En: The sun sets late afternoon over Simonstad.

En: The light drifts over the sharp edges of the Hottentots-Hollandberge.

Af: 'n Koel herfsluggie waai oor die baai en dra die reuk van sout en olie.
En: A cool autumn breeze blows over the bay and carries the scent of salt and oil.

Af: Dit is hier by die vlootbasis waar skippe statig wag, hul blink romp glim in die laaste treetjies lig.
