From Dream to Global Stage: The Rise of the Josie Music Awards EPS #285

In this episode, Goldy Locks sits down with the powerhouse mother-daughter team behind one of the most respected platforms in independent music: the Josie Music Awards.

Founded by Josie Passantino-Boone and Tinamarie Passantino, the Josie Music Awards have grown into one of the largest award ceremonies in the independent music world, celebrating artists, songwriters, and creators across every genre.

What started as a passion project has evolved into a global movement honoring independent musicians based on their body of work, artistry, and dedication, not just streams, sales numbers, or social media followers.

The conversation also explores how the Josie Music Awards became a hub for education, networking, and recognition for artists who are building their careers outside the traditional label system.

With television coverage, legendary honorees, and thousands of artists represented each year, the Josie Music Awards have become a powerful platform proving that independent music is not just surviving, it's thriving.

If you're an artist, songwriter, or anyone trying to navigate the modern music industry, this episode offers rare insight into the people working behind the scenes to celebrate and support independent talent around the world.
