It’s the Second Episode of Today’s Talk with Erika, Breast Cancer Talks. Throughout October, each Monday will feature guests in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In this second episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Jay K. Harness, a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California-Irvine and a breast surgeon at both St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA and Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop, CA. Dr. Harness is also the author of “The Breast Cancer Answers Book” and “Operative Approaches to Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy: Indications, Techniques & Outcomes.”;

Cindy Papale-Hammontree joins the show as a breast cancer survivor and three-time author of “The Empty Cup Runneth Over” “Miami Breast Cancer Experts” and “Experts in Pink” (now in Spanish, “Expertos en Rosa”);

Village of Palmetto Bay Mayor Karyn Cunningham will be on the show. She’s an accomplished teacher, activist and advocate for education. Today Mayor Cunningham shares her sister, Katherine Honey.

Katherine is a Harpist for cancer patients in local hospitals. She has an extensive background when it comes to playing the Harp. Katherine has also played for three U.S. Presidents, a former Secretary of State and some celebrities. She has a beautiful, unique gift and she shares that gift with us on the show. You won’t want to miss it!
