The intersection of the genres of horror and humor is a fascinating one. It’s something I’ve brought up several times on the podcast since my first chat with comics writer Kyle Starks. They share the same cadence and rhythms, and it should be no surprise that the recipe comes out as delicious as peanut butter and chocolate, so I was delighted to see Steve Urena’s email hit my InBox as someone who’s work blending the two I’ve come to admire.
