You Don't Need a Perfect Plan - Former Google Executive on Why Failing Fast is the Ultimate Life Skill - With Ting Zhang

You Don't Need a Perfect Plan - Former Google Executive on Why Failing Fast is the Ultimate Life Skill - With Ting Zhang

This week Lisa sits down with Ting Zhang - former Global Product Lead at Google, aerial acrobat, and self-described "ting of all trades" - who walked away from her dream life in New York City and never looked back.

Ting brings the Google philosophy of failing fast to the conversation and honestly, it's a game changer. The idea is simple but powerful - stop waiting for the perfect plan, start before you're ready, and treat every stumble as information rather than defeat. It's the mindset that got Ting from a corporate burnout in Brooklyn to building conservation trusts and businesses in Aotearoa, New Zealand and it's the same philosophy Lisa has unknowingly been applying to Ginger's from the very beginning.

They also get into the very real cost of human disconnection in a world that's online all the time, why chosen family hits different when you've moved to the other side of the world, and what it means to build something with genuine purpose rather than just what looks good on paper.
